The Western Carolina Writers are a revolving exhibition of local talent dedicated to the growth of individual and collective works of art, entrepreneurship, and songwriting. This societal call to action is spearheaded by Nick McMahon “Nick Mac” and co-host Jesse Frizsell, building bridges for local musicians and artists to traverse live and recorded material back to the community. This outlet can be imperative to the exposure of beginner and seasoned creatives, generating a marketable, yet approachable method of expression.
The Writers formed about a year ago, helping dozens of originators see stages, studios, podcasts, live/session video, and media outlets. Every performance is a comfortable and open experience, the free and absolute expression a provision to the creative process without compromise.
